Can photographic images make causes, consequences and solutions of the global climate crisis visible? While artists and exhibitions deal with climate change and sound the alarm in view of the impending climate catastrophe, the question of the environmental friendliness or sustainability of the art business arises: Can institutions create ecological awareness at the content level while acting in a climate-friendly way within the common practice of exhibition making?
